The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

The following stories are from the casebook of Sherlock Holmes, by way of Project Gutenberg. They are in the public domain, but the restrictions of the Project Gutenberg team should be read thoroughly before you reissue them in any manner. SherlockWorld was developed to demonstrate sophisticated Dynamic HTML techniques: cascading style sheets and multiple levels of JavaScript code. This Web page includes a JavaScript fragment, points to a separate JavaScript file, and also refers to a shared CSS file. Individual stories reference four different JavaScript files and the same shared CSS master style sheet. If you're a developer, you're encouraged to view the source and see how the various visual effects are accomplished.
